did you know...about Finnish language...
that my blog name, BLOGitse, has a meaning in Finnish?
BLOG is a blog but 'itse' is (my)self, me AND it has an other meaning as a whole word, blogitse, is like via blog.
Finnish is a great language to have many meanings for one word.
VOI.
That is butter in Finnish.
But if you put together, voi, voi, then it means like 'oh'. "Oh, that's wonderful".
It's also can. "Hän voi tehdä sen." "He CAN do it".
Hän = she/he
voi = can
tehdä = to do
sen = it
Simple? and lots of fun!!!
Yes, and one important phrase in Finnish: MINÄ RAKASTAN SINUA.
minä = I
rakastan = love
you = sinua
