Here are the shots from my preset white balance functions.
Shot with a Nikon D300 and a Nikkor 18-200mm lens.

Absolute Auto setting

Incandescent lighting (usually used inside)

Fluorescent lighting (usually used inside) - which regarding the manual has a bunch of subsettings

Direct sunlight

Flash - obviously in this case only good for a fairy tale like image ;)

Cloudy - which should have been the Best choice, regarding the day

Shade (like of a house)

Choose colour temperature - here you can obviously choose something - how? I don't know yet ;)

Preset manual - (here you can use a subject, light source or existing photograph as a reference for white balance (Huh?? OK, gotta read more about that somewhere in the manual ;)

-----------------------------------------------

OK, at least I have uploaded some of the test shots. I will def. keep experimenting. A bit more active than the last two weeks. I wanna get somewhere with this in the next 4 weeks.

I hope you will too, I need someone pushing me :)

It's interesting how different the results are...
I like the 'shade' and 'preset manual'/'choose col. temp.'...the fog makes them spooky...
